240 Update Its Been Awhile

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
in the winter as just a precaution in case i have a power loss i keep the tank at 75, but in the summer ill turn my heaters off which also keeps it at around 70-75.

Thanks, Id say I maintain at 78 or above, next time things heat up between two rivals ill drop it a few degrees see if I have any luck.

Agian >>> love the set up

Ya he was for sale rottbo has dibbs, i just cannot stand to see him swim the way he does, whenever i have been away from the tank and kind of sneak up he is always sitting on the bottom, idk if he is just not a smart swimmer and always seems to be stuck in a corner or what but i just feel much happier with him going in a 750 gallon pond. And plus ill be getting some babies to grow out and hopefully will look just as good if not better.

What an awesome tank. Great cichlids, and a beautiful aro!

congrats. looks like you do a great job with the upkeep. the snooks look great!

That's strange. The aro isn't too big for your tank size. I had an aro of that size and it had no problem in my 210g. It may be a swim bladder problem--if so, you should treat it as soon as possible. I heard that sbp can be treated at an early stage.
