Nice looking fish. That stocking epitomizes what makes keeping cichlids interesting to me. You have a nic with fish much more aggressive than mine but my geos killed my nic, goes to show no matter how much you know you still need a bit of luck on your side.
Your right she is a little B^&$*. She chases every thing. And she was added at that size about 6 weeks ago along with the female festae and the red severum. The rest of the fish have been in there for 7 months. Its cool to be able to keep the Africans in there. They were all juvies when they went in, and I believe that has a lot to do with it. Plus 8 feet of water is a world of difference from a 6 foot tank.
full stock? i am not to keen on keeping africans with ca/sa, but this tank ( considering its a 8 foot tank ) looks nices
Ya I think i'm full. I know what you mean about mixing, but these africans get 12" to 14", and again they grew up together. Its funny when the two worlds meet each other its like they dont know what to think about each other. I did have to take out the big Trimac. It was picking on the female festae. I have a pair of Vieja agentea's growing out that might go in when i remove one of the festea males in a few months. Thats the plan any way.
