Hi,

Just wondering before making a final decision: Does it worth to buy a complete set up 240g for 900?

Any comments?

Thanks :)

In my area a 220 with top, one light strip and stand sells for $900. A 240 at the same price with all included sounds good

If it's in good shape and depending what all comes with it.My 135 was a 1000. 4 yrs ago for stand, tank, top and lights

call me cheapo, but i believe in cali, you can still find a tank that size for so much cheaper. just keep looking on cali craigslist.
i also agree with chirohorn, what filter is included in the deal? no x5, no deal, why pay for a ****ty filter
to me stand just needs to be stable, you can always cover it/repaint it or hid it with a damn table cloth if its hideous
imo i would just keep bargain hunting

ive seen a couple ppl sell 200 galllons here for 150, and philly is rip off city if u ask me

in the bay area im sure you can find a better deal than $900. but if its in good shape and depending on the equipment it comes with, i would probably consider it.

depends on how new the tank is if its new tank stand hood no scratches it might be worth it

$900 for that setup is way too much. undergravel filters and powerheads are worthless. maybe if it had a wooden stand, lighting, a sump or good canister filters, then maybe. the way it is, i wouldnt pay more than $500
