Why kill that magnificent fish? Thats the second time he's caught that fish, the first time it wasn't a world record.

:iagree: 2 A nice picture (holding the fish correctly;) ) and back in the water to get bigger 2 be caught again a fish like that in my opinion deserves to fight another day but if you want to mount it or eat it its up to you:D

This is my biggest bass... now no one is getting it

Yup, the Bass get pretty big down here. It's the clean water and all the rainbow trout they stock the lakes with. I remember years ago at Lake Jennings, watching them dump trout that were 9-14" long. All of a sudden the water exploded, Big bass eating up them trout. Pretty cool.

yep, if i remeber right a guy hooked the 25# fish a week earlier but he was fishing for trout and was bringing one in when that fish ate it and broke the line. a week later in the same spot where the fish had a bed the guy snaged and it had the 2# fishing line coming out of its mouth.

sure I can grow out a 25 lb bass in a pond aswell.... power feed him everyday for like 5 or 6 years.... then he's massive and take him in a boat with some buddies and hide it. Come back and say look what I caught with a 4 ft fishing rod and 10lb test.
