oscars are no where near on agression level that red devils are.... jag might work but have to watch them incase anything gets out of hand... and i would suggest having a spare tank
What are the dimensions of the 250g? In a smaller tank you might run into trouble, but those three cichlids should work in a bigger tank with a good footprint and a school of silver dollars or something similar for dithers.

Agreed. That could possibly create an ideal tank for those 3. Its good to see someone NOT trying to cram 45 fish into the tank just because its bigger. All those fish will reach a foot or so and in the long run, if you keep them all, they will be healthy and not have suffered the consequences that other fish have by people who think just because you have a bigger tank you NEED to pack it full of aggressive 20+ inch growing fish.
Those 3 plus some cons, hrps, neets or sajica would work well, as well as some dithers as mentioned already.
I have done the same in my 265 with a pair of istlanum, a neet, an hrp, a con and some clown loaches. Way under stocked by MFK standards, but not a constant battleground within the confines of the glass walls.
