Careful putting it in that spot because of the natural sunlight could cause algae growth which you may not want.

I would agree, but it will still look great.

There are blinds that are generally kept closed during the day, but i opened them to show you the spot better, and a uv sterilizer will be used.. im not to worried about algae

as per your 3rd pic, i think it may be a good idea to move the dog before installing the tank. may get an uneven area or two if ya dont:)

UPDATE!

Got a price quote, and im going to order it this week.

QUOTE.jpg

i just got a quote for an 84x30x24 3/4" acrylic with 2 corner overflows, hand polished front seams, all other seams rounded for safety, and a black back for $2500 from envision acrylics in portland oregon. they do extremely nice work and seem to be $1000 cheaper than tenecor, just some info for ya. http://www.envisionacrylics.com/

Does your quote include the stand and all the filters?

no thats just the tank, seems the tank on your quote is 3500, and the stand is another 2500. im a diy type of guy, so i would build my own stand and filtration system.
