its best to make the tubing as short as possible, how long is it?

about 18" , what the guy had was a peice of tubing then when of those tubing splitters and two more peices of tubing on it because he connected it to two powerheads

ok are you talking about the bulkheads on the bottom now or the aqualifter pump for the top still.

the air thing on top but I dont have the aqualifter pump i have powerheads which you can connect airtubing to. But the bulkhead tubbing is very long.

so you have power heads that you can attach air tubing to from the top of the over flow box, that sounds fine, you may have to suck on it to get the air out and prime it because the power heads might not be sucking hard enoughf to prime it. which vidio did you watch. do you have a link.

yeah its on the first post the marine depot one, didnt help me very much

well i got to wait untill my mom gets home to see if i can even get the overflow working because of the leaky bulkhead on the wetdry filter, i was planning on just sealing around it with silicon.

Ok well let me Know how it goes, about the leaking i would try to find wear and why its leaking, i have a best friend called magic wrap, you can find it in the pluming section at lowes or home depot. Its black and looks kinda like magnetic strip, but you use it like teflon tape and then wrap it around the whole fitting in to the wetdry it gives it a nice finish all so. i wrap it around every thing to make it look nice. this is what your looking for http://www.inmainplumbingsupplies.com/en/our-bestsellers/Plumbing-Pipe-Leak-Repair-Tape.html I dont know why it says $26.00 its only 5 or 6 at lowe's. good luck.

the bulkhead itself isnt leaking, theres the hole that on the side of the wetdry that the bulkhead goes in, then the black peice which you screw the bulkead into, thats the place where its leaking.
