265 gallon leak on tank please help.

Might as well reseal the whole tank while you're at it. Wait 7 days before filling up, that's the average cure time for silicone. Let us know what happens. Good luck.
Hello; I think that I will revise my tank sealing proceedure to say in the future that waiting more than two days for silicone to cure in a good idea. I have gotten away with two days before , but also have had to reseal a reseal sometimes. Some reseals have cured for several days before water testing when I was busy and it did not hurt a thing.
 
another stupid question but gaskets are the rubber rings? yeah they have gaskets but the piping to the bulkhead is loose, will tighting it stop the leak.

I believe that generally silicone cures in 48 hours but it take seven days to achieve maximum strength.

yes they are rubber, tightening will get rid of the leak as long as the gasket is in good shape.
