I'd suggest a baffle, small ledge or even stuffing filter mesh behind the vents, should stop the light and make them less noticeable, but very cool.
That wall was meant to be destroyed lol!

Got my sumps in place and holes drilled to connect them. Had to order the bulkheads. Should be here Friday.



Ran into one problem though. My tank is level but the middle of the stand is 0.5" off the ground. Guess my floor isn't level. Could I just shim it and be ok? Don't want to fill it up and have the tank bow in the middle and break.

The floor almost certainly won't be level, just use thin pieces of metal to shim it.
