Looks great, but I'm curious, why did you leave the trim showing? Imo it would've looked better with the drywall covering the upper and lower trim so that only the glass was showing.

Looks really good. I was planning of doing that to my tank but family won't approve the plan. Nice built.. love how the driftwood fit nicely in that tank.

A Dehumidifier works great if your worried about extra moisture causing mildew. I got mine off Amazon for about $150. Pulls a half gallon of water from the air nearly every day.

Thanks guys. I got a used light for the tank. It's a 5' 8 bulb tek t5. Way more light then I need now but if I decide to grow plants in the future I think I'm covered. For now I can run just 4 of the bulbs. Not the whole 8.

Started finishing the drywall tonight. Also took the old paint off the back of the tank. This tank used to be saltwater and the salt creep had it bubbled up in places. Going to repaint it black.
