Thanks Adam. I plan on it. He quickly became one of my favorites in the tank with his tenacity. I tell you though, the Neet challenging him is a mean SOB and is 1/4 his size.

I'm not 100% sure what sex mine is but it'd be cool if yours turned out to be the opposite so we could hook em up and get some fry! :nilly:

Nice tank and list mate. I especially like the Carpintis 'Vontehillo', i want some of these myself. That Argentea is also very nice, he's got great potential, defo gonna be a stunner!

Thanks! Yea, I agree. Hopefully Ill be able to get some size on everyone before too much drama ensues.

I believe You'll be okay untill they get past 6" or breeding starts.Maybe some territory disputes but nothing to serious. The midas will be Your most likely to snap at some point when larger.Keep us updated with pics as they grow!:)

Im game! I cant tell either, even on larger ones. Everything Ive read says its pretty impossible unless a group are raised.

Thanks Jimmy! Yea, I like the Vonts too and they are a lot more blue than I can portray in the photos. Carpintis are the hardest fish for me to show their true colors...Guess I need to invest in an overhead flash. The one on the camera blows the blues and greens in every fish out.

Im worried about the trimacs most of all. In the past, they have been the most untolerant fishes Ive had and, in all honesty, the only reason I have them in this mix is because of the purple tail on the one. I want to see what it looks like bigger. The other one in the tank had what I thought was the same thing, but it wasnt and hes just a good hider:irked:

It will be interesting to see how your mix works out compared to mine. We both have the same number of juvi's in the same size tank now.

Yes it will. Ill keep updating every month or so.

Which is the most dominant in your tank now?

Both of you have great collections and the capacity to hold them from beginning to end. I wonder what your threads will look like next holiday season. Happy New Year and keep the pics coming.

I would say the Pearsei because they are the biggest and nothing dare touch them, but they exhibit very little aggression.

I have seen little to no aggression from Bocourti, Rhytisma, and Nanoluteus. All the others have been about even, chasing others here and there.

Hey Ira. Thanks...Everyones doing great and as of yesterday, The leucistic and one of the bigger barred HRPs paired off and have laid eggs. The leucistic appears to be the male. Happy New Year!
