That would be it. The price seems to be fair, but you'll have to get memory cards and stuff like that. An external flash is almost a must for aquarium photos too.

I just took a styro box, cut a hole in it, and shoved my flash in it (sb-600). It softens the light a lot and makes even exposure easier. I'll try to get a pic of it later.....it looks pretty ghetto.

Yea, the external flash is really beneficial since you can put it on top of the aquarium. It will give you the maximum amount of usable light. Also, you're right it's a standard SD card. Keep in mind that the D50 is now discontinued, so you might be able to get a better one now.
