In my experience Dovii arent the best community fish, that size tank is small for a dovii/anything community. I know its been done and Im envious, cuz I cant pull it off

to a certain extent, because no matter the size of the O's they may last a while but eventually they won't be able to hang in a tank with that many thouroghbreds.

IMO go with pbass and rd's or just a dovii pair nothing else. I wouldn't intermix them. RD's "can" be community in a way if the tank is big enough and if everyone else can stick up for themselves but don't think you'll have much luck with a 18" or so dovii and pbass loving each other. Also buy the pbass and grow them out first. When they're little they don't have much aggressiveness and even a rd of the same small size could kill them.
