8' long 3' wide and 30" deep OD. Sits 5' 7" tall with canopy on top. 96 SS bolts, nuts and double the washers. 5 tubes of 3m 5200, and twin 3/4" acrylic windows, and a pond liner. Was building it at my parents house, had it brought over last night twas it was getting to cold outside and I was starting to worry how the 3m would hold up. So the tank itself is done, just all the finishing touches need to be done. So here it is as is, canopy sitting on floor, filters ghettoed until I have time to finish mine. Stand not finished, tank not finished and king frost window covering as the top of my tank.

I used HD playsand, how it looks is how I dumped it in after 5 min of washing.

Now the pics in its ugly unfinished state

Canopy on the floor, cant put it on til I figure out what I am going to do with the current filter dilemma I am in

The stand in progress, I still need to apply shellac to it

cool tank. i like the sand and the big rocks. also im usually not too crazy about goldfish, but for your tank i think it works. goonna look kickass when its done

looking good, don't know how all those fish are going to go together, you got cold and tropical, but well done none the less. Why don't you just stain the stand, rather than shalac'ing it, it's gonna take ages for the finish. And you're sooo gonna feel good when its done and you kick back and see you're achievements. Can't wait for the updates.

nice tank but should of took the extra time to clean the glass after putting it in the black drips don't look to great

Looking good. Won't be long until its complete. We'll be waiting for pics.

Ya I always liked a big variety of fish. Take is kept at 76-77 degrees and the few fish IV had together for over 5 years dont seem to mind it. I didnt realize how many fish I had until I looked through these big windows, yikes I have alot.

The stand is stained medium oak already, the canopy has 2 coats of shallac as well as the doors so I just need to spend 10min and do the stand, indoors will be interesting.

Thats just one more thing I have to do to make the tank complete, its tedious so I do little bit at a time.

Goverment put a cap on our work again so gonna be a little slow this week which is gonna hurt the pay, so as of right now it will progress but slowly.

havent gotten real far yet. Got pieces stocked near by to get it on its way but have no time working 60hr weeks. I still gotta get away from the ghetto filter setup and make the one for the side. I am really hoping to atleast get the tile done around the boarder before mid jan, but i gotta peel the rest of the 3m off the windows.

I reaclulated to what I have it filled up with, its 330gal:drool:

Doesn't look too bad and seems to be working well. A little finish work and you've got yourself a nice piece.

I must say I REALLY like the twin windows.
