I’ve always wanted to do a real Blackwater tank but I’ve never had the spare tank for it. This post definitely makes me wanna move it up in the list of to-dos!

A few more. Still fine tuning the settings on the light.
Just finished a two rounds of prazi and a round of levamisole in the last three weeks. I didn’t worm them when they first came in. But I found it odd that a few were growing thinner despite having a voracious appetites. So I’ve been pumping them up with live Blackworms. Once the skinny ones fatten up, I’m going to pellet train these. I’m hoping they aren’t harder than Cichla.
Also, of the four Crenicichla Saxatilis in here, I’m going to remove the smallest female of the three along with the big Pseudanos Gracilis and the Hujeta. The other 2 Pseudanos Varii will remain. The plan is to add a few porthole cats and round out the number of Boulengerella Maculata. I think that’ll look cleaner.
