woo big change

Just out of curiosity, why are most, if not all, of your posts have some type of smart-ass response? I mean, if you look through your posts you have made at this forum, there are very few that are actually helpful. The majority are degrading. If you do not like it here, you are welcome to leave.

Don't ruin it for the rest of us...

Yeah...what he said.

How about a nice beefy male convict? IMO the full-grown males look pretty impressive (especially the marble color morph)

I should be getting my hands on a 30, so life is good.

Thats heading in the right direction Bloo. I have to check but I've found some Striking Africans that would work including the "Ruby Green" Haplichromis and a couple others. You can keep a trio in that 30. When I find the thread I started I'll pass it on for ya.

I just bought a new Female Salvini Sunday for my 30. Once she hits 5" or so I'm going to put her in my 90. She is barely over an inch right now. They are best ID'd buy looking for the dark patch in the middle of the dorsal fin. That fish is female when it has that spot. And the females are the sex with the better color in that species. They like plants too so get the tank established a little bit before adding her.

Good luck!:headbang2

Hey again. I might be wasting my time if you're not interested in Africans. My experience with them is very limited (I've only kept Red Jewels, and currently have a Blue Cobalt cichlid too). However, here's my thread in the African Forum:
http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=149524

Check into these too, thought not all of them are viable options for you in the 30:

I agree also that a FM might work, but a pair would be getting cramped IMO.

Hope this helped a little
