The kribs will eat the neons. No doubt. I have had kribs eat serpae tetras and they are like twice the size of neons.

well tigers only then. My krib that was in qt is now dead so I only have 1 female so how many of what sex should I get in hopes of a pair?
 
Of Kribs? or Tigers? If Kribs, I just bought one male and one female and they paired up right away. Within a week they had laid eggs and hatched.
 
well then i suppose i'll grab a male for my female.
 
Yea you should be fine with just another male.

The aquascaping kinda sucks at the moment (took a lot of the sand out for my 55, and now there isnt' enough for plants to stay down so half of them are floating, and i need another piece or two of driftwood to complete it. I can't wait till my baby tigers grow up, they are so fun right now except they are pretty damn small.
 
I keep tiger barbs with a breeding pair of convicts and had no problems. The cons could never focus on just one fish so it worked out good.
 
ya i've found my tigers have really made the female kribs kinda crazy lol, she is eating and they all come in to eat too and she starts chasing them away while some more try to eat and then she chases them away and it goes on and on until she just gets enough to eat then lets them finish the rest.
