* sorry ment sump *

i dont think u need a sump nor a skimmer. biocube does it all. and u dont have to do that much of a water change.

You can find a skimmer small enough to put in the bio cube. As far as water changes you do not have to empty that much each week. You are going to want to do 4 gallons a week and once you have your tank for 6 months do that same amout every two weeks. My brother inserted a skimmer in his aqua pod which is preety much the same system.

the aqua pod has a skimmer made for it, it has more room in the back. i was going to buy it for my biocube, but i opnd the package and with the filter in the baco of the biocube, the bio balls and the pumo theres no room back there. i dont even kno how i got my heater back there:confused:

4 gallons is what percent of 29?

Go here. I bought this skimmer for my biocubhttp://cgi.ebay.com/Sapphire-Protein-Skimmer-for-JBJ-Nano-Cube-Model-NC12_W0QQitemZ140097423407QQihZ004QQcategoryZ46310QQrdZ1QQssPageNameZWD1VQQcmdZViewIteme. It fits inside and u can still close the lid. Click the link

What do you have in your biocube? tell us a little more about the tank. how long has it been up, what are the water params, and stocking? I would get rid of the bio balls in the 2nd chamber if you have liverock in the tank, and then get a skimmer. there are a couple skimmer that will work with that tank cpr bakpak, saphire and tunze all have skimmers that will work in the second chamber. I have a cpr bakpak2 that works hanging off the back in the 2nd chamber. You might have to modify the hood a little bit.
