29 gallon cichlid tank(ideas)

hey guys, I plan on getting rid of my community fish and switching them with some sort of cichlid. I know it's a small space but I want to put maybe tanganyikans in there but I know nothing about them. Can someone suggest some fish for my tank?

29 gallon if you want a great tank with alot of action I would do shellies on the bottom and cyps to occupy the mid and top.

could I do a Altolamprologus calvus tank with like four of them or are they too big for this tank?

It would house some small ones for a while because they are slow growers, but I would keep Calvus in a larger tank for the long haul.

i have 3 firemouths in a 30 and they do great. you could probably so some shellies on the bottom. my FM's stay in the middle or top.
