I wanted to do bolivian rams, but the female just disappeared (literally overnight and after laying 2 batches of eggs).

Whats a good fish to breed in a 29? If not for life at least for a while. I would like cichlids, but its not absolutely necessary.

Basically what would you breed?

Convicts are one of the best when they have their fry's its soo cute

Wow bleeding hearts sound tough. I know what I am going to do. I have transformed my 75 from a tankbuster tank to an angelfish community tank, 8 arriving on sunday. I will just breed them if they pair up.

That cant be that bad. Surely Texas can get them at a retail price cheaper then $15 for a 2" one?

12.99 They cant get them alive in the winter though. Petsmart said they cant at all. Poster above said Petco so I guess Ill head to Tyler next week. Anyone know of any good lfs in Tyler?

read up on breeding bettas, I used a method very similar to breed dwarf gouramis and blue gouramis. I used 2-5g and a 10g that I drilled and linked with powerheads. Put a male in 1, a female in the other. Put the 2 5g's next to each other you have 1) line of sight and 2) spreading of pheremones.

Then I combined them in the half filled 10g, move heaters and filters in other tank no disturbance, perfect environment.
