So I have a newly empty 29 and im usually a cichlid guy but I figure I would stretch out of my element a little. I'm looking for a fish to put in here and I thaught I would see if puffers might work. I would keep it singly in here and I am flexible with whatever requirements it needs but Im pretty sure my options are limited. I don't want something that will outgrow the tank and I preferable wouldn't want the really small kind like pea puffers and such. I also want to steer clear of green spotted puffers but im flexible with that.

Any suggestions?

Does that mean brackish is out?

Look here: http://www.**************.com/forum/ug.php/v/PufferPedia/

Check out the Pufferpedia (http://www.**************.com/forum/ug.php/v/PufferPedia/?sid=bb61fc587d511d4afb99d413fcc752fd), they have tons of puffer profiles there. My personal favorite is the Auriglobus Silus :D

Haha, I edited that link into my post!

Thanks for the link guys. I definatly don't mind a single fish tank. Brackish isn't out of the question either.

If you are willing to BW, then a couple of figure 8 puffers & a couple of knight gobies would be a nice tank.

You could also do a congo, they will not out grow that tank, but they are not the most active of puffers.. just one of my favs!

I really like the look of congos. They are so cool. They might be what im looking for. Anybody have experience with them?
