29 gallon?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
im aware fryeri are haps (id be retarded to not know that by now)-i have a few and have been doing this a while.lol i also have p. acei- mine are quite large and kept in a 180 gallon-im surprised three fit in a 29 gallon tank-mine are pretty strong, active swimmers and tend to school together and swim the length of the tank-do yours school together? i have so many other fish in the 180 gallon, but my acei's only hang out with themselves.

I wouldnt say they school together, more like aimlessly swim around lol

lol yeah. i love acei's-they are one of my favorites, right under my 9" male Venustus-hes my #1 boy.

acei will school. They are more of the claim mbuna. IF that existed. I am sure they would not kill each other in a 29, but since these fish tend to school, I am sure you would get better enjoyment in a larger tank.

As for the question at hand, for life I would go shellies. You could get some alto shellies and then something else. It would be cool little setup. I love my shells comps. They are much more active than my regular ones. They do great with my 'Lamprologus' caudopunctatus, and 'Lamprologus' multifasciatus with some bristlenoise plecos. Now instead of multies you could go with something with more color like Lamprologus' ocellatus.

def post pics when u finish it

could socolofi work? but i think i am getting some demasoni, 1m-3f, and how would i keep my Ph up around 7.3-7.6 because i'm use to having it at 6.6-7.0 for my SA's

Sounds like a good Neolamp. breeder....

Leleupi, brichardi, any shellies or smaller Julies wound make a nice colony as well.
