i am sad that my chinchilla is gone.

however, the possum is jsut an animal trying to survive, you cant really blame it for donig what it did, i mean it did have babys, she was doing what she had to do.

and my dad beating her to death out of impulse was the stupidest thing to do, EVER.

Sorry to hear about your chinchilla, but I woulda done the same thing to the possum. Gotta protect your family, and as far as I'm concerned, my pets are part of mine. It sux that there were baby possums involved, but think of it this way... one day they would all be grown and might cause you more problems down the road.

sorry to hear of your long time companions untimely death.... that is the only downside to the keeping of animals... ya get attached then at some point in time they cease to exist...

the possum part (although i am not a big fan of them) is sad as well..... but, what is done is done....
