So I was gonna do cory cats because I know they’re easy. But I feel like for me to learn and thrive more on knowledge I need more of a challenge, but I don’t know what to do. Maybe a small kind of small syno cat? I have a 10g for fry for whatever I do end up breeding. I know I said challenge but I’m broke and limited to 50$ right now, so I don’t know what I’ll be able to buy. The 29g is currently empty so I’ll have to get gravel and I have some spider wood and I’ll get some plants, but I am limited on money

Edit: I’m hoping whatever I breed is high demand so I can them sell easier for more money for my room

Maybe Bristlenose

Forgot to add, I hate plecos, sorry for pleco lovers out there I hate they’re waste and they’re very boring

Centromochlus perugaie are a great little species, I have four of them in an 8 gallon. Very bubbly creatures and will breed easily given the right conditions, I've had mine lay eggs several times. I think fishhead0103666 fishhead0103666 has another small species of wood cat.

If you want stupid easy then corydoras are an option too.

I do indeed hendre, I will find the name sometime today.

The way I see it is you’re brand new to breeding, you need to get your feet wet, you also would do well if you could get some money. I say go with bronze cories. They’re common, cheap, and supposedly easy to breed. You can get some experience and be able to sell the fry. Once you get enough money you can move onto a more expensive cory or harder to breed cory then keep doing it. I’m going to be doing a similar thing soon enough.

Flagtail Porthole cats. Have been bred in aquaria but limited info out there. The Wet Spot has them. Would make a great doctoral thesis on how you discovered the works every time spawning scenario ?

Thanks for all the info! I agree, I should get my feet wet first. The only thing that I’ve had breed is my julies like 2 weeks ago. I like peppered more than bronze so I might do peppered. I was looking for a challenge but I tho k your right I should start small and work my way up pretty much
