29g planted w/pics... Critique me...

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
they're probably hidden in the rocks, your fish won't be more crowded by a few more plants. lots of driftwood would look great in there though, even just the way it is. i actually like pots in certain settings, you might try moving your equipment further into the corners to make it a little less visible.

First thing I'd do is move the equipment to the edges, or hide them with large plants/wood/rock. The kyoto/mondo grass is not aquatic, and will die. I'd recommend removing it. Finally, I'd add more plants.

Lol... could you circle them for me?

1 pot is behind the large rock on the left, the other is behind the rock on the right, below the filter intake.

By the way your tank looks good, are you going to run any kind of Co2 injection?

I didn't think the grass was going to last... I kinda like the dwarf hair grass look though, maybe I'll try that...

Thanks, nope, No Co2. Thanks for the input ppl. :D And thanks for all the initial help wyldflya. :D

yeah dwarf hair grass has to have CO2 injection, good soil, and super strong lighting to grow its quite difficult.
It'll grow but it will never carpet the bottom, unless you do the above

Is that Mondo grass?

OK I see it next to the pot. I was gonna say the rest of the grassy stuff sure looked like vals to me.
