  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
^^Can't argue with any of that post at all.

There isn't any light currently.

You are right. It seems like with more decro,he is hiding more.I will get some feeder tomorrow or the day after and do some quarantine. So by day 6-7 if he's still not eating,i am gonna feed some to him.

What feeder are the most nutritious?

I wouldnt add any feeders.
Dats are not very hard to get off live food.
My Dats never had any feeders and eat and grow very good.
Try white mosquito larva.

Mosquito larva are not easy to find here in singapore as if we have them,be prepare for government to knock on your door and receive a heavy fine.

I manage to harvest them only because i left a pot of water outside and forgotten about it for weeks. Not gonna do it again.

I will remove all the stone and plant tonight as suggested and try to get the IT to be use to me.Hope the betta inside the tank could help him feel more at home too.

And yes, there is literally little to no bio-load.

:confused::confused::confused:I fill it 90% full.Might be the angle of the photo.
It a 2ft tank with a 2inches fish.You can imagine:)

Well, just fed and still no luck.He is back to his spot again. Not exactly hiding i would say.

He just hang out infront of the tank corner.

Feeding on frozen bloodworm now.
Will take a picture after a few more days of fattening him up.
Hope he will become more stable too.

Try cutting tiny pieces of tilapia fillet or any fish fillet & see if he grabs it. You could also try hikari carnivore pellets & see if he grabs those as there falling in the water column. The oscar should clean up the mess if he doesn't. Bloodworms are gd to get some quick calories down, but a bulkier food should be offered pretty soon. Bloodworms alone will sustain him ok, but not advance him like other foods will...also, be careful the oscar doesn't start to negatively affect the dats feedings in time as he grows much quicker than the dat
