Try this...
Get a clear glass bottle with an opening big enough for only the eel to get in... Put blood worms, earth worms,ect into bottle and place bottle in the tank.. The eel should be able to climb into the bottle and eat in a secure place, and other fish wont be able to bother the eel inside the bottle.. Do this before you go to bed, and check the next morning to see if the food is gone from the bottle!!!
