I was thinking the same thing, but in one of the pics it looks like there is a piece heading backwards and behind it ... so I assumed that it was blocking the piece from sliding left more.

You got it right believe me I tried alot Im working on some rock scape to hide the cut

I thought about this however the wire isn't exposed metal its covered in a rubber substance so Im really not worried but Im gonna keep an eye out for sure
