Reduce the population of those fish down to 1/8 or a little more and thats a nice tank. But seriously, I got surprised when I saw comments like, I wish I was him. Amazing tanks. and other crap! And when I saw people who I kind of looked up to in the fish keeping hobby saying some of these, now I dont know who to look for to get advice. The ones who I thought were experts dont seem so smart to me anymore. I just dont see how some one could support this form of torture. Sorry, I just am surprised at how a lot of this forum views overstocking. It doesn't matter how much filtration there is. I still consider my a noob in fish keeping and know how wrong this is.

why is it torture?
the fish are healthy and growing.
overstocked is when you see crap quality water, dead fishes, and stunted fishes.

These fish are barely able to swim, that IS overcrowded. How would you like to be in a room so cramped you couldnt take 1 step without bumping into someone? To me it sounds like the only reason you like fish is 'cause there pretty. You cant see there personalities or natural behaviors, or at least as close as natural can be in an aquarium. It seems to me that many of you don't want there fish to lead a nice life. I once thought that only inexperienced rich hobbyists did this thing. I am not that experienced either but I have enough common sense to realize that no living creature except some schooling fish could enjoy that life. And the only reason there not shredding each other into pieces is because they dont have room to have a fight. I am ok with tanks that are a little overstocked but thats just too overstocked. I really dont see how you could enjoy looking at a mess like that. Theres more fish than water!

they are just pics,if you saw the tank in person, you would probably understand there is much more tspace than many of you think.;)
many EXPERIENCED hobbyists have done this, and IMO it takes an experienced hobbyist to do this,to keep so many fish in one tank while keeping them so healthy.
as for whether the fish enjoy the life or not?who knows?
you think any fish "enjoys" its life in a tank?
and if you think i only like it cause the fish are "pretty",youre very wrong.

Put me on the bench with FishFreak95. That's nothing to be bragged about or envied. Having fish that can't turn around without touching another fish is wrong no matter how many other ignorants think it's 'cool'.

In the US

Animal control would shoot on site for a violation like this.
