HAHAH Agree. But some people I have noticed get real touchy with that name. No idea why they were called green terrors when I was a kid. I am still going to call it a green terror just wondering what others thoughts where.

If you do have a a male a female I'd remove everyone else should they pair up

I think I am going to just stick with the one. I figure why mess with something that is working.

Common name for both is green terror. If they wanna get nit picky use the species name.

It's because there is a difference in the fish and people want to make that distinction. The fish you have also has the common name gold saum, but they were always known in the hobby as green terrors first. They were confused w/ the other two sp. which are more aggressive. That is how common names can be a problem.

Only when they are miss identified. Some people cant tell the difference between Blue Acara and Green Terror

Yea that was my point. Just picked up this guy and shared on Facebook. Half the people were arguing that it was a GT

It is a green terror.... Just kidding. I think it is because blue acara aren't as well known yet. I use to pride my self on collecting rarer fish. My wife informed me even my most common fish are rare to most people. Most people only know the most common fish.

Yea I'm not sure what's rare or not but it took me a while to find my acara, salvini and nic locally. I didn't try online tho. What rare fish did/do you have?

Acara are becoming more common but are still kind of rare I think many have not heard of them.

I cant remember everything it has been a while I. I did have a fugu puffer, fahaka puffer, avacado puffer (they are more common now), red sea niger trigger (niger triggers are common red sea are not), red sea undulated trigger, banded sea snake eel, jansens saddle wrass, blue spotted grouper, mpimbwe frontosa (not common on the east coast).

I also had fish ADD at that time in my life wasted sooo much money.
