3-4 inch pbass in 30 gallon

well does he swim around in the day time cuz my bass does that same thing at night and its fine

Get him a buddy, i feel there should always be two or more of each species in a tank, unless its a Red Devil Cichlid.......

juveniles are very very timid. its just kinda how they are. mine were this way, and it took a long time for them to warm up. BTW whats your temp. at? and is there anything for him to hide behind? they really need a lot of cover/structure in the early months
