OMG.. What a beauty... Yellow are rare...

-Word. You usually see Red Tails. Yellows only come along once in a while.

So reds are the commons?are they the same species or is it that some have that color in a batch of red?

Well.. its hard to say if its common or not... but theres more than one variation of it.....

Red are found often and they sell more... LFS like to see the reds because they are brighter...

I've seen two other types.. Yellow being one... and Gray is the other.. almost no color to it.. Not too sure if its the same species or not...

Just like pink tail chalceus... theres two variation of it..

-Well, i wouldnt exactly call it... "Common" over the Yellow Tail.

But its like...
How many SoCAL ppl do you see with Yellow Tail Fei Feng Over Red Tail Fei Feng?

Its usually always Red FlagTails~

Then it goes back to the thought...
(Example) How in some places- they would get in Delhezi, Ornate And Endli Bichirs constantly with ease.

Yet, they would have problems trying to get Albino and Regular Senegal Bichirs in~

I believe its the same kind of issue.
Just that where we reside... Red FlagTails are more abundant.
Yellow Prochilodus seem to be a bit more "rare" to see in our area.

So i wouldn't want to label Red FlagTails as "common"
Whats common for us on the WestCoast... could be someones final rare fish to add to their community / set-up on the EastCoast.
