Would you buy this ebjd for 15 dollars?? Also if you breed a deformed ebjd with bgjd thats not deformed or related, will the fry come out deformed??? Hes at my lfs...

Most jd's breed by the male showing strength in lip lock when the female is interested. He will not breed with that mouth.
 
That's a genetic defect. Your fry will have deformities.

I don't think you can say that with 100% certainty, but I would not dream of incorporating a fish like that into any breeding program unless my goal was to breed deformed fish.

If you are trying to build a breeding program, my suggestion is to use only the best stock - healthy (strong growing), proper body shape (head shape is key for EBJD's), and free of deformities (missing or twisted fins, short bodies, crooked spine, etc.)

Yea I wasn't saying 100% of the the fry will come out defected, but honestly, why try when this specific breed is already know to have such deformities. To me it would be pointless to start with a specimen like that....
