I just set up a 180 gal and i am putting 2 silver and 1 jardini aro in it. Will that be large enough for them? i have a 220 gal but its not set up and i was trying to make it a ray tnk.

thats asking 4 trouble 2 arows is bad cos agression is spread 3 arrows in ur tank is way over stocked and plus that jardini will beat on those silvers so bad when he gets bigger stick 2 1 silver or a jardini no other combo would be fine long term in ur tank:popcorn:

they should be fine, 180 and the 220 dont have much difference in surface area. I'm glad you got three, should make them better eaters and healtier.

oops, nm, thought there were 3 silvers, jardini prolly wont fit in that combo

^ agree ^

Thou I would get one silver since you can house it with other fish. A jar will most likely need to be solo...

^ disagree ^ :nilly:

kickthefool even if it was 3 silvers that would b way overstocked plus with 3 u still cant b sure they will get get on u need a 450 upwards 4 3 silvers so they ea have their own territory

3 aros in a 180 is gonna be big trouble in a year or 2. some people don't realize, how big they guys really are after a year or 2. especially in the same tank.

returboii has 2 silvers and 2 pbass in his 180 and his fish look like they take up 70% of the space LOL. they look way sick tho but i would not suggest 3 in a 180.

i have 3 in a 400, and it looks crowded up top and its a 8ft x 32" footprint

I can't see it working out even in the short term, go for one

Seems like it would eventually get too cramped. And the Jar will probably go on a killing spree.
