3 Aros in a 180?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
That wouldn't be a problem, as long as you provide good filtration, and aeration. A lot people don't know that the more space you give the aros, the more they will fight. If your 180 gal dimension is 6'x2'x2', you could keep them in their practically for life.

i know koji has some nicely setup tanks with multiple aros, but sir have you personally grew multiple aros in a 6x2x2? its upsetting no matter how u say it'll work.

I've had two 30" silvers, a 24" "Jar" and a 18" "Jar" in a 180 gals with four 8"-10" datnoids a couple of years ago.

did u eat ur fish after u grew them out? no love!

i can show u a 180gal setup with only 4 fish, 2 peacock bass and 2 silvers, and that tank looks tiny now lol

I was watching a 180g last night that had a 17" and 12" silver living happily together (neither had drop eye too), so it can work with just two, it often doesn't though. Either way, a 180g is not big enough for one silver for life, let alone two or three. If you're not planning a bigger tank then just get the one jardini as you'll be able to keep it a lot longer in that tank than the silvers.

I strongly disagree with that i think a 6x2x2 is far too small even for one as a prmenant home!

JARDINI BY ITSELF, it will still look good!
