I have 2 aros - a silver and a jar. No aggression yet, but do you think it's best to get a third? I've read several posts where people saw decreased aggression with 3 aros.

What size are your aros? Usually if they dont show aggression as a pair you dont need to add another. However if they are still small now, they might start getting aggressive as they grow larger.

I agree.. it takes time..

This past weekend I got a free Arowana from a friend of mine.. and we wanted to see if they will get along.. both are 8"... sadly mine ended up kicking my friend's arowana' but.. we pulled it out immediately..

I heard that to house arowana safely.. it requires 180 gallon and above tanks..

Any objections???

Who's asking about tank size?

three is a general rule of thumb i believe. i have successes and failures. Recently, had to separate HBRTG from black and green ... i will try mixing again when they are slightly older i think (and when i am home)
