And JD, I notice in your sig that you're looking for an ST. Just curious, since nobody can seem it positively ID one of these, how are you gonna know its an ST? Are you gonna take him to your best mate and have him count the scales and spines and taste its feces to see if its a real ST? How are you gonna know? What if you end up getting an IT?

This particular case is NOT. Again, you have proved your inabillity to read and fellow such complex thinking...

For the record, I have turned down several STs as Im not one of those looking for just an ST, I want a QUALITY fish, period. Ask Sticky! haha but he knows he wants to trade that lei! Actually the only ST I have seriously thought about buying, I offered $500 for. It was that NICE. Too bad the owner turned it down..

Lets keep it civil fellas there is no need to argue or badmouth one another over a fish. Eventhough I know how heated some of these debates are and I have fallen guilty to the bait.

ST's are long gone before most hobbyists in MFK know what a ST looks like.

tail ID is one method, stripe another method, color another method; there are many methods in total, no fixed rule. alot of weird puzzling ones around as well out of the many i have kept.

overall just keep them well. as long as your happy with it, it will be as well.
