3 catfish species from Panama

Isla Taboga Panama via Milwaukee

Above a juvie Rhamdia guatamalensus (AKA quelen) approx. 3 inches (7.5 cms),
below a sightly larger one, 7" -8" (20 cms)

These caught in shallow water, under over hanging vegetation

And the latest species caught, much further east in Panam, in the Rio Terable, Trichomycterus striatus, a small species only a couple inches total length

Almost forgot about these, those heads being tossed off into the Pacific, watching from a restaurant, as fishermen were cleaning their catch,.
It was back in 2014 (my initial trip, before moving to Panama.)
Quite the sight, wondering if these were salt water cats, or or just riverine cats being cleaned off shore.
