My piranha is 16 years old, and hasent had live food for about 10.
You lot obviously have piranha for 1 reason, to watch it kill.

you have us wrong most of us in the piranha section keep piranhas not because we want them to rip stuff appart but becuase we find them interesting or we enjoy their colours or for whatever reason

i never said i would enjoy feeding other fish to my piranhas infact id probably look away im sayng i would do it because it helps round out their diet more and alows them to do what they would naturaly do in the wild

IMO live food should never be their whole diet (unless your feeding a wide cariety of different things to them eg different species of fish crayfish shrimp etc) live food should always be supplemented by frozen thawed or prepared foods

There is a big difference between feeding your fish "feeder" fish and the one in this picture. I think it is a bit morbid to allow your fish to basically "torment" this guy until he dies. I feel that if you do feed your fish feeders, they need to be just that..feeder fish..not tortured fish..this fish is being tortured..sorry to say friend.

I had given a breeding pair of convicts to a friend of mine...they would not breed no matter what for her!!!!!
Well one of her polys ended up eating the male but choked on it and died....
she was pissed so she put the female in with her flowerhorn to im guessing get ripped apart...well a year later they are best tank mates lol. Everytime we go there the two are always swimming together and the convict is always digging holes for the eggs.

I dont believe in killing goldfish they are too beautiful a creature to simply feed them to piranha. I prefer convict.
