3 Foot Wild Dorado Caught!

So i went on my honeymoon all last week in Cabo San lucas and went deep sea fishing!! this guy was beautiful and was a good fight...after catching we went to port and had it prepared..He was awesome!Let me know what u guys think!

Agreed... I would much rather own one But for the sake of the Dorado..I will never forget him..it was much more than a meal..or for sport..it was a memory i will hold onto forever..and i told my wife that i will own a Dorado one day as a baby and grow him out in honor of that FISH!

Ok. I'm confused. That's a mahi mahi, aka dolphin fish. I assumed dorado meant the freshwater, trout like fish. Do they call mahi mahi dorado in Mexico then?

Yes. The mahi-mahi also known as dolphin-fish or dorado, rakingo, calitos, maverikos, or lampuka.

Here is a 40 lb. mahi my wife caught a few years back down in Key Largo.
