3 fx5's on a 375?

Do you run the polishing pad or something fine like that? I have read that is what usually causes the micro bubbles. I have one running on my 125 holding the fish for the 300+ and I don't have any bubbles I can see.

I run 2 FX5s on a 125 and another 2 FX5s on a 7ft 135. I love the flow on them but I would not feel comfortable running three on a tank of the size you are talking without also using powerheads for additional flow.
Regarding FX5 vs. Eheim, remember that these are personal preferences. There are plenty of experienced hobbyists on this site who would never put that kind of money into canisters and do just fine with sponge filters.
I wory about the current too. If need be I was thinking some of those hydor power heads with the wide flow patern.

Honestly I have a tank almost the same size and would not hesitate to have 3 FX5's on it, I have done it on my 300 gallon and loved it but needed the third on another tank. Once thing (sorry if I missed it) I have not seen listed is what the stock will be. The only time I am concerned about flow is when I know a species comes from slow moving waters (blackwater SA cichlids etc..). What are you planning on stocking this beast with NOLAGT?

Yea ive done the research on how to fix the problem and tried all of them. I use sand witch is probably the cause. No filter pads. Just ceramic rings.

I would use 3 fx5's!!!

I run all of my FX5's on mech sponges and Eheim substrat pro in all three trays and one of them still get the microbubbles. Makes no sense what so ever. I think it depends on the filter, but that's just my opinion.
