3 inch hujeta diet?

I recently bought a 3 inch hujeta, and so far he's only eating frozen bloodworms.


I don't really like bloodworms as they create a mess and they are also expensive, £2.50 a pack of frozen bloodworms.

I've tried him on little frozen cockles and chopped market prawns, but no luck.

Any other suggestions?

!/2" guppies, brine shrimp a few at a time, mysids/fairy shrimp, 1/2" crickets, 1 1/2"-2" earhtworms.

thanks for the advice guppy, coincidentally he just started eating the cichlid gold pellets intended for the convict. Haha, didn't think there was any chance of that.

So I've crushed more up and he's been gobbling them up.
