Definitely a bahia. I recognize the tail markings. Only one? More!!!!

Haha god knows I want more, Im running out of room! I can have growout tanks running out my ears, but when it comes down to it, they all gotta get to the 350, and its pretty well stocked as it is. Not to mention there are 4 more fish including this Kelberi that are growing out and will need to go to that tank within the next several months. Not to mention I just bought a 11" 2 spot guyana, a 14" wild ocel, a 11" broko, and this Kelberi, all within the past 30 days. Add to that a new American Bulldog pup I gotta pony up for this week...grocery list getting shorter lol. It will be bologna and cheese for a few weeks lol.

Glad to see that you gave kelberis a second try ;) Looking good.
Ya man couldnt pass on these tank raised guys. Granted wild ones are gonna be more rare and sought after but a Kelberi that will eat frozen food and pellets right out of the gate..priceless. I almost wish I could find a buyer for the Peru's I got growing out so I could get about 4 more of these. Tank space is at a premium here right now.

Bologna and Cheese lmfao! Put the Perus up for sale and see what you can do. As for your 350 tank stock, JDM baby. Upgrade your filtration and pack it out! More Media, More Fish! < I may have to stick that in my signature, thats a good one!

Ive been kicking around plans to install a much bigger sump. My biggest concern is upsetting the bio too much transferring all of it at one time to the new one. Going to still have a wet/dry area trickling over bio balls, just much more of it. Also going to be a large area for submerged media, hoping around 100lbs of it or more. As well as improved mechanical pre-filtering and an area for much finer mechanical floss after all the bio for polishing. Of course all the heaters will stay in the sump as well. Going to open up the pipes quite a bit on the return side, take alot of the hum out of the pumps. Again in all this, im still kicking around how im going to keep all of my current bio alive during the couple hours its going to take to make the swap and do all the new plumbing.

Sounds like a good idea.. Keeping the bacteria alive is easy. Transfer the media to a sterile garbage can or large container with a heater and a powerheads and you shouldn't have any problems at all. Just make sure it doesn't hit the air for long periods of time, large temperature fluctuations, or stagnant water.

I currently working on a project myself. Nobody has commented on my thread lol either people don't like me, my diagrams scare them or it's just too much reading for some. I'll copy you the link. I'd like some feedback if you have any.
