The Lacerdae will get huge. At least 20"+. I would love one myself. Would love to see a pic.
The mala's are aggressive territorial fish, Each fish is an individual with it's own personality. It's a risk, You could have fish that don't touch each other, you could have fish that continually fight and damage each other. You could have one that kills the rest.
I have tried many times keeping aggresive fish together usually snakeheads and it very rarely works out as planned. I recently tried to put an 11" Xingu Black wolf in with a Jelly cat in a 180 and I have never seen anything like it. Relentless constant attacks on the Cat from a fish that is normally very nervous and like to hid away.
I guess all I am saying is there is a risk. The choice is yours. I don't like to take the risk anymore. The Lacerdae would appreciate the 180 aswell.
