Here some modifications.
- Front and back made of 2x4 and few 4x4 bolted to the 2x8 on the sides. I could biscuit joint the 2x4 plus screws.
- 2 layers of ply. Just in case the 12' long is expensive, I would use 4x8 3/4" + a thiner 4x12 laminated on top and screwed from below. Less screw holes to patch before armorPond it.
- 3.5 metres, a bit less than 12'
