Mokelembembe: Note the big blotch pattern, and no ring of dots around the iris of the eye

Finlet counts are not always acurate (remember Po. Bichir Bichir minimum 16 finlets? 3 of my 6 have 15 finlets.)
It also depends where you count from if you look at the spines of the finlets, you will see they are made up of tiny rings. Those are the spines you count. This usually means counting a spine sometimes 2 from the caudal fin.

Now lower jaws are my strong point, but on the first picture, I can make out 7 maybe 8 dorsal finlets (could be wrong) and can see Zaire green eye speckles.

Either way, great fish and I hope you get some better pics soon so we can confirm ID better for you.

How much did they cost? If its pretty expensive, high chances of being a moke

Almost forgot, the other way to tell is that Retros have the lower half cream body that yours display, Mokes are darker below the center line.

Got a good look at the dorsal finlets today.
Counted 7-8 on each of them. So it looks like they're retropinnis. A bit disappointed, but not overly. I was kicking myself for not getting the $55 one at Christmas. Now I have three juvies who I know will have good care from the start.

Hell no!
Don't be disappointed, Zaires are gorgeous fish, and Mokes will come around again. This time you will know what to look out for.

Wait till those Retros settle in and see how nice the look!

I'm just a LITTLE disappointed. :)
Mokes are rarer as far as I know, so it was a bit exciting to think I might actually be able to get them. I am VERY happy with the retros though. They are quite beautiful.
Unfortunatley, when they are ordered through a wholsaler in another province, pictures aren't always available.
I can't wait for them to start putting on some size. Hopefully they grow as fast as my dels.
