hi,

just want to share my new catch. got them very cheap and i kinda like their markings specially the big one.

del #1 around 5" - $5 only and ornate 5" - $6 :)

del #2 2.5" - this one is cheap, really cheap. got this for a $1. do you think his markings will still look good when grows around 6"? i kinda like the markings of the first del and i was hoping that his will look like that. :)

also notice their color difference, del #2 looks pale and del #1 looks like a more legit delhezi. i was thinking that del #2 is hybrid, because another del that i got from this supplier went from 3" to 8" in 4 months more like a hybrid monster hehe. i heard that del are the slowest growing bichir, is that true? i got del #1 from a new supplier and his stocks are really nice, he claims he breeds his own.. i kinda believe him, i saw a batch of 1.5" senegals that he just breed. awesome guy! i saw the other delhezi with the same batch of del #1 others has less markings, but im planning to get the one that has no markings.. looks cool!

yeah, kinda cheap huh. hehe

del #1 is in up village, del #2 and ornate is in fishy habit in banawe.
BTW, del #2 and ornate were given to me in a special discounted price.

you know any fish shop that sell nice bichirs? have'nt been around lately specially in cartimar

to far but i simply make it!!! hehe may i should try in bio sucat

you're from the south? cartimar is a good place to get bichirs, but i think their stocks there are seasonal. so price are fluctuating time to time.

there was a time, when a shop there Letty's sold me a ornate with a deformed finlet for just $5. last week when i called them ornate prices are around $9-$12 and 4" endli are $20-$25 which i think is overpriced. i know someone where you can get a high quality endli around 3.5" for just $12

im still thinking if i should get an endli, since i havent had one since i started bichir keeping because i think they are ugly. hehe, my opinion only. but everyone is bugging me to get one..

but there is just something about delhezis that challenges me to get one that has perfect bands, im in the hunt for one that has perfect bands and im willing to pay.

delhezi #1 is so far the best looking delhezi i have ever seen in fish shop in the philippines, the markings on the other side is just awesome (not shown on the picture) it extends almost near the head. his upper body color is just superb dark grey, like what ive said you usaully see a light grey half marked delhezi in fish shop around

no bro, i have'nt been in cartimar for a long time now. i got it here:

del #1 is in up village, del #2 and ornate is in fishy habit in banawe.
BTW, del #2 and ornate were given to me in a special discounted price.
