I just put new lights on my 150g. They have 2 t5 ho clear, 2 t5 ho blue, and 5 blue led. I need help with setting the timers. I know the LEDs are for overnight. The clear are for daylight hours. When do you use the blue T5 lights? I would think just before and just after the T5 clear but it can only be programed for 1 cycle per color per day. When should I use blue T5s? Thanks

is this on a S/W tank or fresh, if it's fresh the blue T5 are useless to you, pull them out and put more daylight bulbs in if it's S/W then they should be on all the time your others are to promote coral growth, so I would program the leds to come on ten minutes before the other lights go off and turn off ten minuets after your other lights come on.

I've seen several people use the actinic lamps because they like the extra color it gives the fish, or as night lighting. if you like the look, there's no problem using them.
have you tried looking at it with all the lamps on, just the blues, just the white?
personally, I have a 3 lamp fixture and have 1 10000k lamp and 2 6500k. the 10000k is still white, but very blueish. I run the 10000k for 2 hours for morning and evening lighting and the 6500k for the brighter part of their day. my lights are on for about 8-9 hours. if I had the LED's I'd go from the end of the second 10000k cycle until when I knew I wouldn't be watching the fish anymore.
