I would love a wide tank as my babys are ganna grow my wife's concern is the tank going threw the floor and that mite spark my interest trying coming like that I've always wanted to try aquaponics

Tank looks pretty tall? Obviously a tall narrow tank will spread its weight over a smaller footprint than a long or wide tank that isn't as tall. If you're not sure about the floor you could reduce the water level to 18-20", with some large pieces of wood protruding from the water and some exposed plants it could look quite cool.
