For sale 3 XLarge Fronosa that I rescued from local pet shop. This fish was stock in very small tank .You need a big tank to house them . It looks like a pair and third one I am not sure male or female . Very beautiful fish . I ish I can keep them , but have no suitable space . I placed them in 135 gallon tank temporarily.
Pick up in Brooklyn , NY 11235 (Sheepshead Bay ) area .
Adoption fee is $250 for all 3 . That is what I paid for them tp pet shop .

Bump for trio of frontosa . I m sure somebody has a big enough tank to house them . Beautiful show fish .
 
I’m not tryna be a jerk here mate, but part of the challenge your facing now is, in your compassion to liberate them from poor conditions, you over paid for them. Considerably so actually.
Pet stores often keep big fish in small tanks waiting to be sold. Like all the time.
Burundi frontosa are not in high demand, and do not command high prices like Blue Zaire variants.
I fear you may be stuck with them a while unless you take a hit on what you paid for them. At least they’re in suitable space in your 135gal while you wait.
I hope you find a buyer with the same level of compassion as you, I really do 🙏🏼
 
Danotaylor thank you for your input . You are absolutely right. I just can't leave that place leaving the fish there and not to give them a chance .. Hope somebody with a big tank will be interested .

Arowana , Yes most likely this is the case . This small pet stores making money on everything they can get ahold of. In the area where I am it's only couple of them survived , others out of business ... We used to have pet store almost on each block ... very sad tendency ...
